JC3 Mission Statement
The mission of Jasper County Cowboy Church is to carry the Word of God and it’s message of salvation to the lost souls of the world.
As believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, we plan to achieve this mission to reach the culture in which the church was names through our weekly services, arena events, community outreach and mission work. We do this to show our loves for our savior who laid down His life as a sacrifice so that ours may be saved.
Romans 10:9-13- If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As scripture says, “anyone who believes in Him will never by put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
What We Believe
The Scriptures- The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is perfect treasure of divine instruction.
God- There is one and only one living and true God. He exists in the Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Man- Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowing work of His creation. The gift of gender is thus part of the goodness of God’s creation.
Salvation- Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as savior.
The Church- The New Testament Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and the fellowship of the gospel; observing the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His word, and seeking to extent the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper- Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby member of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
Evangelism and Mission- It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations.
The Family- God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption.
