JC3 Ministry Teams

We are organized using the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches (AFCC) church model. We have teams that help reach people for the Lord.

Arena Team

The Arena Team is our mission field at JC3. We hold events in the arena like playdays, team roping, bull riding, muttin bustin, barrel racing, family ranch rodeos, etc. Everyone is invited to these events, where they will hear the Word of God and see the Love of Jesus from the JC3 Family.

Band/Media Team

The Band’s mission statement is “Serving Jesus One Note at a Time”.  The JC3 Band is blessed with very talented musicians and vocalist.

Chuck Wagon/ Hospitality/ Concession Stand Team

The Chuck Wagon Team’s mission statement is “Food for the Soul”. The Chuck Wagon Team enjoys cast iron pot cooking over hot coals.  Dutch oven cobbler is a crowd favorite. The Chuck Wagon Team cooks at function held at the church and represents JC3 by cooking at functions away from the church like Hot Hearts and AFCC Annual Gatherin.  The Hospitality Team prepares our Wednesday night meals, Sunday morning donuts and coffee and special meals as requested.  The Concession Stand Team operates the concession stand at arena events. The Food Team’s keep us fed and they are always willing to help other Teams with their events.

Facility/ Security/ Events Team

The Facility Team takes care of repairs and maintenance for the entire church facility.  They are a team of hardworking men that are always willing to tackle any project.  The Security Team provides security at each service and all JC3 sponsored events. They do an excellent job keeping us safe.  You may never see them but trust us they are always watching.  The Events Team manages all the church and arena rental events.  They are always willing to help make your event run smooth.

Mission/ Benevolence/ Care Team

The Mission Team’s mission statement is “I will serve others and show them the hope they can have in Jesus”. JC3 supports local missions like the Women’s & Children’s Shelter, Jasper Share Food Panty, Christmas Angel Tree by providing clothes and toiletries to local children in need.  During hurricane Harvey, JC3 served as a shelter. JC3 has taken mission trips to Montana to hold Rodeo Bible Camps for the Crow Nation Indians. The Mission Team is always willing to help those in need and share the love of Jesus.

Sale Barn Team

The Sale Barn Team’s mission statement is “to show the love of Jesus to women and help women feel good about themselves”. They love to help women find that perfect outfit that makes them feel beautiful and fellowship with women that need a listening ear. The Sale Barn Team gives back to those in need whether they have lost everything in a fire or maybe just need a helping hand.  They contribute to many benefits and fundraisers in the community and host style shows for various Women’s Organizations.  The Sale Barn contributes to Church and Teams of the church.

Student Ministry

The Student Ministry is made up of the Nursery (0 – 3 years old), Children’s Ministry (4 years old – 6th grade) and Youth Ministry (7th – 12th grade).  They have a place for all children to learn about the love of Jesus. The Student Ministry participate in many events and activities.  They also attend an away camp each summer to fellowship with children from other churches and learn more about Jesus.  Another activity the Children’s Ministry enjoys is making gifts and taking them to the Nursing Home many times a year.  They meet each Wednesday and Sunday (except first Sunday) in the Buckaroo Barn upstairs.  The Youth meets on Wednesday nights in the Loft upstairs for a time of devotion, activities and fellowship.  They enjoy attending Hot Hearts each year and Christian concerts. The Youth attend an away camp each summer.  Their favorite camp is the AFCC in Oklahoma.  The Student Ministry heads up several church wide events each year. JC3 Cowboy Camp (Vacation Bible School Western Style) is a big outreach to the children of Jasper and the surrounding areas. The Buckaroos enjoy horseback riding, wagon rides, crafts, learning about the love of Jesus and much more. In late October, the Day in the Dirt Handicapable Rodeo is an entire event for handicapable people of all ages. All activities are handicap accessible.  They get to ride horses, mechanical bulls, wagon rides, game booths, etc.  The Annual JC3 Fall Festival is held the Saturday before October 31st.  This is a community outreach to all the children and youth of Jasper and the surrounding area.  The JC3 Fall Festival has activities like Bucky the mechanical bull, face painting and many game booths.  The Students Ministry shows the love of Jesus to all in attendance.

Welcome Wagon

The Welcome Wagon is the first people you meet when attend Sunday service.  They greet you at the door and handout the bulletins.  At the Welcome Desk in the church foyer you will find two ladies ready to answer any questions about the church or activities happening at JC3.  They assemble and hand out the first-time visitors Welcome Bag.  The Welcome Wagon represent JC3 at festivals, rodeos and other events in the area. Everyone is welcome at JC3 and just come as you are.

Women’s Ministry Team

The Women’s Ministry Team mission statement is “Love each other with genuine affection & take delight in honoring each other.” Romans 12:10. The Team’s name is SALT – Sisters Abiding in Love & Truth. The Women’s Ministry Team hosts bi-monthly bible studies.  They serve in the community by making fidget quilts for nursing home patients.  SALT compiled a church directory notebook for all members of the church free of charge. Women of all ages attend SALT. They come together to study God’s Word, fellowship and serve the needs of others.
